Groom's Sister- Dresses You can wear to an Indian wedding?
As You Know that The Groom’s Sister holds a place of honor at any wedding - Indian or Otherwise : So it’s perfectly justified to look stunning!
Most girls choose a wedding to sport Saree. But you you’re a teenager. So it’s highly likely that you just might not be very comfortable in a saree. I would suggest a pretty lehenga.
These are very easy to carry and look fabulous, to say the least. You can find an enormous variety of lehengas online and in most fashion stores. The length of the blouse can be played with. Some girls (who have a midriff to die for) prefer to wear short blouses like the model in the pic above. Some of them prefer more modest blouses.
The dupatta (or the stole worn on the side) can also be worn in different ways. Some girls just casually drape it around the neck.
Some of them wear it on the side like in the pics above. Some of them wear it like a ‘half-saree’. Wearing the dupatta in this fashion is recommended if the dupatta has intricate work done on it. This is the only way it can be seen.
Make sure you get matching bling jewelry and footwear. It’s advisable to wear open-toe sandals with lehengas. Shoes and Indian traditional wear just don’t fit together.
And the hair! Oh the hair is important! When you sport a lehenga, It’s advisable to get your hair done at a proper Indian hairdressers. Just tell them that you’ll be wearing a lehenga and then they’ll know what to do with your hair!
